How does remote support work?
At the agreed time, you open a trusted remote-support application and approve a temporary connection. You can see what I am doing throughout and can end the session whenever you choose.
The practical details: what I can help with, how remote access works, specialist services and how pricing is handled.

No unattended access is installed as part of a normal session. When the session ends, the connection ends. You can also remove the support application afterwards.
Usually not. When a password is required, you should type it yourself while the screen is hidden or paused where the software allows.
The service is primarily for Windows desktop and laptop PCs. Ask first about other devices so I can confirm whether the problem is within scope.
Remote support is available to customers in the UK and US. Session times are shown through Google Calendar so you can choose from the current availability.
Quick Fix is £30 for up to 30 minutes, Standard Support is £45 for up to 60 minutes, and Complex Support is £60 for up to 90 minutes. The likely tier is agreed before work begins.
The quoted tier covers the reserved session and the work completed within it. For a very small issue, the Quick Fix tier is intended to keep the cost proportionate.
I will explain what I found and recommend the most sensible next step, such as a local repair shop, replacement part or specialist service. I will not pretend a remote fix is possible when it is not.
Yes. Consultation and planning is £40 per hour, while guided setup is £60 per hour. Support can include OBS or similar software, scenes, audio, plugins, peripherals, Discord structure, bots, roles and community workflows.
Yes. A parts-list review is £25, a full custom build plan is £45, and an extended plan with alternatives and upgrade-path advice is £60. Live remote build guidance or post-build setup is £50 per hour. I do not physically assemble the computer for you.
No technician can honestly guarantee that. I do guarantee a clear assessment, honest communication and no unnecessary work or upselling.
Basic malware checks may be possible, but serious security incidents, data breaches, financial fraud or compromised business systems should be handled by an appropriate cybersecurity specialist.
You will need to open a trusted remote-support application for a normal remote PC session. For consultation or guided PC-building work, voice or video chat may be sufficient depending on the task.
First send the relevant support request form. If I can help, I will confirm the likely price and send you a Google Calendar booking link. The form does not ask for preferred days or times because the calendar shows the available appointments.
Payment is made through PayPal only. The price is agreed before the session begins, so you know the cost in advance.
For troubleshooting, have the computer switched on, connected to the internet and plugged into power. For PC-build guidance, have component manuals and the parts within reach, and do not work on powered hardware.
